Serving New York
With Diverse Social Service Programs
Greenwich House is a nonprofit settlement house -- or neighborhood center -- dedicated to helping New Yorkers lead safe, healthy and more fulfilling lives.
We’re located in New York City’s historic Greenwich Village and Chelsea neighborhoods. But, we offer cultural and educational programs, social and health services and opportunities for civic involvement to New Yorkers of all ages and backgrounds -- from any neighborhood.
Our professionally trained staff is committed to maintaining the highest level of excellence and providing services that address a wide range of contemporary life challenges.
Our many social service programs stand out in the community -- our early childhood education programs give children a wonderful first school experience; our substance abuse and mental health treatment programs help get people back on track; our health care and services for people living with HIV/AIDS give hope where it’s needed most; our arts programs enrich lives; and our elder care services help keep seniors healthy and active.
Greenwich House depends on the financial support of government agencies and private sources to keep our programs operating. Please consider a gift to help us help your neighbors -- Make a tax-deductible donation!
