North River Music Season Opener: Yarn/Wire, 02/18 @ 8pm, Renee Weiler Concert Hall

Greenwich House Arts is pleased to announce the opening concert of North River Music’s 24th season. On Thursday, February 18 at 8pm, the two piano, two percussion ensemble known as Yarn/Wire (pianists Laura Barger and Jacob Rhodebeck, and percussionists Ian Antonio and Russell Greenberg) presents Composing NYC 1, the first of two concerts showcasing world premières for combinations of pianos, percussion, and electronics by emerging NYC composers. Part 1 features the work of Part 1 features the works of David Franzson, Sebastian Armoza, Joseph Di Ponio, and Aaron Einbond. Admission is payable at the door from 7:30pm and costs $15 general, $10 for students and seniors. This performance will be held at Renee Weiler Concert Hall (MAP).
