Greenwich House Staff Appears in Council Symposium
On Friday, April 23, Amanda Glass, Clinical Supervisor at the Greenwich House Chemical Dependency Program, participated in a panel discussion as part of the first symposium series by the Manhattan Borough on Chemical Dependency.
The CDP Creative Recovery Group
In 2007, Chemical Dependency Program staff member, Carmen Levasseur, began a new and innovative group for program clients, the Creative Recovery Group. Her colleague, Laura Mclarty, joined her in 2008.
The purpose of group is for clients to engage and connect with one another through creative expression. As clients explore their creative abilities they demonstrate increased self-esteem and awareness. The group projects vary in difficulty and purpose.
