Senior Health & Consultation
Getting older certainly isn't easy. As we age, there are so many adjustments to make -- older people begin to face the changes in lifestyle that retirement brings, the loss of family and friends, loneliness and often physical difficulties.
Greenwich House recognizes that these adjustments don’t have to paralyze us -- life for older adults can continue to be filled with self respect and dignity.
Since 1974, our Senior Citizens Health & Consultation Center has provided adults 60 and older with affordable mental health services that can assist them to cope with and adjust to their changing lives.
Our excellent team of psychiatrists, psychiatric social workers, medical doctors and home health aids work together to provide each older adult with the very best care for his or her special needs. Services are provided at the Center, but home visits are also possible when necessary.
The Greenwich House Senior Health & Consultation Center is licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health and funded by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
