Sofia Arista-Juarez

Sofia Arista-Juarez, born and raised in East Harlem, is a proud Mexican American and first-generation college graduate. She holds an associate’s degree in Liberal Arts and is bilingual in both English and Spanish.

Sofia has gained meaningful experience through internships at senior centers and nonprofits, reflecting her deep-rooted passion for community service. Now in her first role as an Administrative Coordinator at Lifelong Skills and Opportunity Center, she brings compassion, adaptability, and a strong work ethic to her work every day. Family-oriented and deeply connected to her roots, Sofia enjoys reading, writing poetry, journaling, drawing, and creating things in her free time—creative outlets that inspire her both personally and professionally.
