Ballet Classes

Ballet at Greenwich House Music School teaches proper ballet technique, body alignment, movement, and rhythm-all within a supportive and judgment-free environment. Classic terminology is used, and students begin learning barre work in Ballet III. Studying classical ballet has many benefits that extend beyond the art form including commitment, dedication, focus, attention to detail, determination, and self-discipline. All classes perform in the school recital at the end of each year. After registering, parents will receive an email with what each student must wear to class, including a ballet leotard, tights, and slippers. The spring term concludes with a recital, costume fee TBD.
