Greenwich House Pottery is New York City’s home for ceramics education and artistic exploration. For over a century, we’ve welcomed beginners, hobbyists, and professional artists to discover the joy of clay in our vibrant studios.

Our pottery classes in NYC are designed for every level—from first-time students to advanced ceramic artists. Guided by accomplished teaching artists, you’ll learn handbuilding, wheel throwing, glazing, and sculpture techniques while joining a creative, supportive community.

With two inspiring locations—our historic ceramics center on Jones Street in Greenwich Village and our spacious new Chelsea pottery studio at 80 Eighth Avenue—we provide unmatched access to tools, kilns, and creative opportunities in the heart of the city.
