Cathy Gormley

Catherine Gormley is a seasoned human services executive with more than 20 years of experience supporting older adults, caregivers, and at‑risk New Yorkers. As Vice President of Human Services at Greenwich House, she oversees a wide portfolio of programs across Greenwich House and Heights and Hills, including case management, caregiver support, volunteer engagement, and special initiatives that strengthen community well‑being. She leads strategic planning, program development, budgeting, and contract compliance, and represents the organization in community partnerships, advocacy efforts, and public forums.

Before joining Greenwich House, Cathy spent over a decade at Heights and Hills, most recently as Director of Programs, where she managed core Department for the Aging–funded services and supervised multidisciplinary teams across case management, caregiver support, volunteer programs, and an Older Adult Center. Her earlier leadership roles focused on transitional housing, employment retention, and social services for individuals facing significant barriers. She holds a Master of Social Work from Hunter College and brings deep expertise in crisis intervention, program operations, and building effective, mission‑driven teams.
