Slipcasting Workshop, March 8

— Experience the basics of slipcasting, and explore the nature of plaster and porcelain casting slip. Participants will cast multiple pieces from pre-existing molds, then practice manipulating or joining casts. Participants can expect to keep one slipcast piece. Staff will glaze the work according to the participant’s selection and fire the piece for pick-up in approximately 3 weeks. No previous experience is necessary.
