Kristy Moreno will give an in-person talk about the project she is working on during her residency at Greenwich House Pottery.

Kristy Moreno is a California-based artist who uses aesthetics influenced by Southern California counter cultures, cartoons from the 1990s, and folklore to create figurative work that imagines fictional communities in a decolonized future who are free from patriarchal structures. During her residency, Moreno has been formulating her own brightly-colored matte and glossy mid- and low-fire glazes and creating new work.
