Pottery Memorial for Peter Gourfain

On Sunday, May 12, long-time GHP faculty member Peter Gourfain passed away. For years, Peter arrived on Thursday afternoons and headed up to the third floor to join the community and share his love of art and making. On the final Thursday of the term, June 23, GHP will honor his memory with a slideshow memorial in the Jane Hartsook Gallery. The gallery will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., as a space for reflection. At 6:00 p.m., all are welcome to gather in the gallery and share memories of Peter.
Please email any photos of Peter or his work that you would like to share to pottery@greenwichhouse.org by June 20. We will make the slideshow available to family and friends the following week.
We will not limit the number of people in attendance in the gallery, so please wear your mask and follow the vaccine protocols.
