Older Adult Mental Health Clinics
Greenwich House licensed therapists are embedded within 11 Manhattan older adult centers providing mental health treatment as well as educational and interactive group experiences focused on emotional wellness and support. This DFTA funded geriatric mental health initiative primary goal is offer direct access to mental health treatment and support to older people experiencing mental illness and isolation in existing older adult centers.
Licensed therapists are also available to meet with adults 60+ to access the following:
- Individualized psychotherapy
- Case management
- Crisis intervention
- Bereavement counseling
- Psychiatric medication management
- Family therapy, and
- Caregiver support
Greenwich House Older Adult Mental Health Clinics are co-located within DFTA Older Adult Centers.
