Ju-Ping Song

Hailed as “an extraordinary pianist” (Boston Globe) and “a true maverick” (The Chautauqua Daily), Ju-Ping Song is recognized as one of today’s champions of classical contemporary music. She is the founder and director of the NakedEye Ensemble, an electro-acoustic new music group based in Lancaster, PA, with whom she has commissioned over forty new works. With NakedEye, she has released three albums, Storylines Crossing (Starkland 2018), Toy (New Focus Recordings 2019), and A Series of Indecipherable Glyphs (New Focus Recordings 2022). Her debut solo album, Monad, will be released in 2024 on Starkland Records. In addition to performing worldwide, she is a founding member of FLAME, a Florence (Italy) -based modern ensemble. She has been on the faculties of New York University, Hunter College, Pennsylvania Academy of Music, and is a regular guest artist at Universities in Taiwan.
