Amanda Gomez
Amanda Gomez is a Master’s level Social Worker working at Greenwich House. She joined the Greenwich staff in the summer of 2023, working at the Queens Family Justice Center as a counselor providing therapeutic services for survivors of domestic violence and gender-based violence.
Previously, Amanda has gained experience working with children and families through the education system as well as the non-profit sector. Prior to Greenwich house, she provided educational and advocacy support for children and families, as well as, in school counseling for middle school youth.
She shares a great passion for working with children and families and advocating for equitable resources academically, physically, mentally and emotionally.
Amanda obtained her Bachelor’s of Science in Social Work from Skidmore College and her Master’s of Social Work from New York University Silver’s School of Social Work. She also has certification in Intergroup Dialogue, specifically social justice dialogue.
