Brian Colon
Brian Colon joined Greenwich House in February 2024 as the new Director of Workforce Services for the Lifelong Skills and Opportunity Center. He brings two decades of extensive workforce development, talent acquisition, and business management experience in the nonprofit sector with bilingual communities.
Most recently, he served as the Human Resources Recruitment Manager at The Fortune Society, optimizing the organization’s recruitment process and facilitating its adoption of advanced ATS and HRIS platforms. Prior to that, he was the Director of Training and Development at the Exodus Transitional Community, where he led the nationwide launch of an innovative pilot program and development initiative for diverse populations.
At Greenwich House, he oversees the ongoing development and implementation of the Lifelong Skills and Opportunity Center (LSOC), a first-of-its-kind program with special focus on older adults and other targeted populations served by Greenwich House. Brian leads a team responsible for developing workforce and digital literacy classes, job search and readiness programs, and employer partnerships.
In addition to his professional achievements, Brian is nearing the completion of his bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Entrepreneurialism at the CUNY School of Professional Studies.
