Chang Chih-Hsiang
Pronouns: he/him
Chang Chih-Hsiang is a Queens artist whose main body of work explores the tradition of clay through the mingei philosophy and rituals. His work is primarily wheel-thrown and plays around with a wide range of techniques shared among peers during his studies. He is aware of the beauty ceramics as a material can offer as well as its limitations and is not afraid of dabbling into other materials to enhance, educate and hopefully provide a thought for other students and artists to deploy in their own works.
