Danette Hamilton

Born and raised in The Bronx, NY, Danette Hamilton, also known as Ms. Dee, currently serves as the Associate Director of Workforce and Behavioral Services at the NEW Greenwich House Lifelong Skills and Opportunity Center.

Danette’s journey in Workforce Professional Development began at the age of twenty-one when she started as Administrative Support at the “Back to Work” program(s). Over the years, she steadily expanded her knowledge and skills, culminating in her advancement from Workforce Specialist to her current role as Associate Director. With a degree in Sociology from New Jersey City University and advanced studies in Human Services, Danette has amassed over a decade of experience in the field working with clients of all ages.

Her expertise spans Work Readiness Facilitation, One-on-One Case Management, Job Recruitment Assistance, Career Exploration Guidance, and Resume Writing. Danette’s unique blend of professionalism and relatability has made her a valuable contributor and leader, leaving a lasting impact on both her colleagues and the individuals she serves. Known for her fun and approachable style, she continues to inspire and support others in their professional journeys.
