Faith Balento, LMHC-D
Faith Balento, LMHC-D, joined Greenwich House Center for Resiliency and Wellness in May 2025 as the Director of Admission. A dedicated mental health professional, Faith provides holistic, person-centered care with a specialization in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, LGBTQIA+ issues, and gender-affirming care.
Prior to this role, Faith served as both a Mental Health Counselor and Assistant Program Director at Samaritan Daytop Village’s Harlem Outpatient program. As a clinician, she worked extensively with individuals navigating mental health challenges, substance use disorders, and co-occurring conditions. In her administrative capacity, Faith supervised a multidisciplinary team of Mental Health and CASAC clinicians, oversaw clinical operations, and ensured compliance with program standards and regulations.
Faith holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Buffalo State College and a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Hunter College. She is committed to creating safe, inclusive spaces where people feel seen, supported, and empowered.
