Gabriela Huaraca, LMHC
Gabriela Huaraca, LMHC joined Greenwich House Center for Resiliency and Wellness in June 2024 as the Assistant Clinic Director. As a LMHC, she provides comprehensive mental health services, specializing in trauma-informed care, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and resilience-building strategies. She is committed to fostering a collaborative environment that promotes professional growth and excellence in client care.
Before joining Greenwich House, Huaraca worked at Samaritan Daytop Village, first as a Mental Health Clinician and then as Assistant Director. In the clinician role, she worked extensively with clients dealing with mental health issues, substance use disorders, and co-occurring conditions. This experience laid the groundwork for her subsequent leadership role, where she managed clinical operations and led a team of mental health and CASAC professionals.
Huaraca holds a Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College and a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Hunter College.
