Jasmin Sanchez

Jasmin Sanchez joined Greenwich House in August 2023 as the Director of the Youth Community Center. Sanchez has dedicated over 20 years to developing impactful and innovative programs for youth and communities across the city. 

Her commitment to positive change began at Grand Street Settlement and extended through her work at the YM & YWHA of Washington Heights and Inwood, as well as the Educational Alliance, where she consistently increased membership and stakeholder engagement. 

In her previous role at the Educational Alliance, Sanchez played a pivotal role in expanding the organization’s programs and outreach, significantly enhancing its overall impact on the community. Her extensive experience encompasses strategic planning, program design, outcome measurement, volunteer management, and grant writing. 

Sanchez holds a B.A. in Urban Studies from the CUNY School of Labor and Urban Studies and is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Public Administration there as well. Beyond her professional achievements, Sanchez is a dedicated softball coach and actively involved in climate justice and housing organizing in her community.
