Jose Rodriguez, LMSW joined the Center for Resiliency and Wellness at Greenwich House as a Therapist in May 2024. Jose approaches therapy as a collaborative and tailored experience. Jose strives to provide tools necessary for clients to navigate their personal journeys, fostering growth, resiliency, and self-discovery.
Jose has been dedicated to the mental health field for nearly five years. Jose began his career working at a behavioral health hospital with a deep desire to help the community and assist individuals in overcoming the challenges that can sometimes impede their progress towards achieving their goals. Jose also worked in case management, crisis intervention, and Mental Health Counseling. Jose has experience working with families with children and single adults/adult families.
As a Hispanic therapist fluent in both Spanish and English, and a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community, Jose is committed to empowering individuals to live their lives authentically and confidently.
Jose holds an Associate’s degree in Chemical Dependency Counseling from Tompkins Cortland Community College, a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania, and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University at Buffalo.
