Joseph on his teaching style:

“Over thirty-five years of professional experience has enabled me to contribute enthusiastically at every level of piano instruction. My goal is to provide an enjoyable and substantive experience so that one feels a sense of discovery, satisfaction and achievement. I believe it is important to establish a feeling of ease and rapport at lessons, as this is essential to create an atmosphere for musical involvement. I am proud to continue the legacies of my own remarkable teachers, Claudio Arrau, Grete Sultan, and our own German Diez.”
