Leah Floyd

Leah Floyd is an artist and Art Therapist with experience in mental health and public school education settings. As an elementary educator for 4 years, Leah focused on projects to build confidence and gross motor skills. Her bachelors is from The University of Georgia where she studied ceramics, painting and drawing. While studying abroad in Italy she was a teaching assistant for ceramic artist Chris Robinson. Later, she finished her masters in Art Therapy/Counseling from The College of New Rochelle. Leah enjoys working in clay on a kick wheel focusing especially on functional pieces. She currently resides in Brooklyn where she works as an Art Therapist in a city hospital and private practice.
