Nicole Bowden

Nicole Bowden always knew what she wanted to do. That’s why she went to the High school of art and design as an adolescent. Then from there studied at the Fashion Institute of technology and received her Bachelor’s degree in Illustration in 2019. Despite the confusion and uncertainty that tends to bleed into other facets of life, her simple strong resolve “to live and make art” always reinforced the need to develop her knowledge in traditional art fundamentals and experiment with various mediums.

Putting that Knowledge to use as an Artist instructor for schools and nonprofits, allowed Nicole to tap into another part of herself. That part loves sharing the things that she is passionate about with bright, young, eager minds in her community. Creating a safe learning environment where Students can learn to express themselves is beyond rewarding. Hearing someone, who never thought to draw and sketch before they met you, declare how much they love art and witness the excitement they exude brings forth a warmth to the heart that is hard to replace. Nicole has been fortunate enough to still do what she always wanted to do, and more.
