Nicole Pappas Ferrin
Nicole Ferrin is the Director of the Barrow Street Nursery School. She previously served the school as the Director of Admissions and Administration and a classroom teacher for over a decade. During the time Nicole has been at the nursery school, she has started and helped to grow several programs, including the Summer Program, Afterschool Enrichment Program and Toddler Program.
Nicole has her Masters in Early Childhood Education and Museum Education from Bank Street University and has a Bachelor of Science from Wake Forest University in Business. She is a Director at Large for the New York Junior League, a non-profit dedicated to improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. She serves as an advisor to the Executive Director of Room to Grow, a non-profit who offers structured coaching, material goods, and community connections to support parents as they expand their knowledge, enabling children to thrive from the start. She also serves on the Board of the Independent Admissions Association of Greater New York, ISAAGY.
Her older daughter Eleanor graduated from Barrow in 2019 and her younger daughter Cece is in the 2s/3s program.
