Pedro Ramirez

Pedro Ramirez’s work uses natural materials, documentation and installation in an attempt to highlight the environmental crisis currently affecting the planet. Clay and soil as well as living and non living plants are used in his work and juxtaposed with synthetic replicas.

Ramirez teaches ceramics at Marymount Manhattan College and opened his studio Mouse Ceramic Studio in 2018.

Ramirez has a Bachelors in Art with a focus on ceramics, and an MFA in Studio Art from The City College of New York.
