Rafat Ansari

Rafat Ansari started teaching sewing, embroidery and puppetry at The Children’s Aid Society in Greenwich Village in 2007. She joined Greenwich House in 2012, where she teaches a wide variety of needlecrafts. Sewing and embroidery are among Rafat’s favorite hobbies, and she loves creating unique sewing projects that get kids of all ages excited to learn and build confidence in their creative abilities with a simple needle and thread.
