Sarah Mardiney, LMSW

Sarah Mardiney, LMSW, joined Greenwich House’s Center for Resiliency and Wellness as a Therapist in July 2024. Sarah is passionate about helping her clients identify their individual strengths to tailor their therapeutic experience. Sarah believes in the power of artistic expression; in life and in therapy, and encourages her clients to deepen their therapeutic work through art-making. 

 Sarah began her career as a social worker serving New Yorkers directly in the community through fieldwork, providing in-home counseling services and casework to older adults with Substance Use Disorders, across Brooklyn, Manhattan, and the Bronx. Additionally, she has worked with elementary-aged children in a school setting and teenage girls in a group home setting.

Sarah holds certifications in Multisystemic Family Therapy (MST-FIT), Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI), and ITM (an integration of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and MST-FIT). Sarah is currently providing services both in-person and via telehealth.

Sarah obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Media, Culture, and Communications from New York University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Fordham University.
