Pottery Classes for Kids, Teens, and Families
Unleash your child’s creativity with our exciting Afterschool Teen and Children’s Pottery Classes. Located in the heart of Greenwich Village NYC, Greenwich House Pottery offers children and teens a welcoming and inspiring environment where young artists can explore, create, and express themselves through clay. Our dedicated instructors are not just teachers; they’re mentors who guide young minds through the magical journey of pottery making. From molding and shaping to glazing and firing, our classes cover it all, catering to beginners and budding artists alike.
AFTERSCHOOL POTTERY CLASSES
This academic year, we will offer programming on Monday afternoons for students age 10-17 at 16 Jones Street. The weekly courses offer a complete overview of the potter’s wheel and glazing. All firing and materials are included and tools are provided. Students meet with their instructor Monday afternoons. These classes are open to all skill levels, but some previous experience with clay in the classroom or an afterschool program is recommended. Participants will arrive on their own and self-dismiss after class.
Winter term registration is open.
CLASSES FOR CHILDREN
During the winter term 2026, Greenwich House Pottery is only able to offer afterschool pottery classes for students age 10-17. We look forward to adding more classes for the next school year.
