In-Person Artist Talk, 4:00 – 5:00 p.m.

Carson Culp will give an in-person talk about the project he is working on during his residency at Greenwich House Pottery.

During his residency, Culp is taking the time to explore and grow his voice as a potter. Trained in the tradition of Bernard Leach, a British studio potter respected for simple and utilitarian forms, Culp is experimenting with how he might incorporate the influence of contemporary art—especially street art, like wheat paste posters—into his work.

The talk is free and open to the public.
