Night two of the Black Composers Upsouth Festival will feature The Hemphill Stringtet performing the music of Julius Hemphill and their new CD release. Curtis Stewart, violin; Sam Bardfeld, violin; Stephanie Griffin, viola; Tomeka Reid, cello. Doors 7:15 pm, Concert 7:30 pm. Tickets are $25 available at the door only (cash preferred).
The series is presented by Greenwich House Music School in partnership with Continuum Culture & Arts’ Soup & Sound. Soup & Sound is a program of Continuum Culture & Arts, Inc. A non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. This program is supported, in part, by public funds from the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council.
