Josephine Heilpern

Josephine Heilpern is a full time ceramicist and designer from NYC. Since graduating from Cooper Union, where she trained in sculpture, printmaking and painting, Josephine has been experimenting in clay. In 2012 she started Recreation Center, a ceramic focused brand specialized in homeware, including tableware and decorative objects. Her work draws inspiration from Bauhaus and Modernists design while creating work that is meant for everyday use and enjoyment.  She lives and works in Brooklyn NY.
